About the Role
HMD Electrical Solutions is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving sales growth. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Opportunity Identification: Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential business opportunities, emerging trends, and new customer segments within the electrical services industry. Analyse competitors and market conditions to strategically position HMD Electrical Solutions.
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to generate new leads and convert them into long-term clients. Engage with potential customers through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events, to expand our client base.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients. Understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, leading to repeat business and referrals.
Sales Strategy & Target Achievement: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Set and achieve sales targets, regularly monitoring progress and adjusting tactics as needed to meet or exceed goals.
Proposal Development & Negotiation: Prepare and present compelling business proposals and presentations to prospective clients. Negotiate contract terms and close deals that align with company objectives and profitability goals.
Market Expansion & Brand Promotion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand HMD Electrical Solutions' market presence, including exploring new geographical areas and industry sectors. Promote the company's brand and services through various marketing and outreach activities.
Performance Reporting & Analysis: Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and drive continuous improvement in business development efforts.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, or a related role, preferably within the electrical, construction, or related industries.
Strong understanding of the electrical services market and industry trends.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve targets and contribute to business growth.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
